When we think of heroes they are often people who have accomplished something far above and beyond expectations. A hero is someone who has triumphed over difficult odds or perhaps been the first to reach a unique achievement. A hero is someone who has sacrificed some part of themselves for the benefit of others – someone who has set their own needs or desires aside for the greater good. Heroes inspire us to live into the best of who we can be. The challenges of 2020 are giving us an opportunity to discover heroes in our everyday lives. We’ll identify biblical characteristics of everyday heroes and be encouraged to grow in these characteristics every day.
