The Wayward and the Way

Jesus is the great shepherd who leaves the 99 sheep on the hillside to go in search of the one sheep who has wandered off. We will never wander outside of the love of God. Not only does Jesus pursue a relationship with us and welcome all of us into relationship with Him, but He also wants to use us to share His grace, love, mercy and forgiveness with the world. God uses unlikely people, like you and me, to lead others to the Way. To lead other into a relationship with Jesus. He uses the wayward, the wanderers, the “not quites” and the “never-get-it rights” to demonstrate His love, power and forgiveness. His perfect love is revealed and offered to imperfect people and through our relationship with Jesus.  The Wayward and the Way is a look at some of the unlikely, wayward people that God has used throughout the Bible to make His love known to the world and lead us to Jesus, who is the way. It is an opportunity for us to discover the love of God for all of us and an invitation to allow God to use you as well.
