The Playlist worship series is back with a new verse in 2025: Lyrics & Lessons in Prayer.
Music is the heartbeat of worship, helping us to praise and pray. Music gives voice to our thoughts, feelings, hopes and hurts. Music helps us hear God’s voice and sense God’s presence in worship and in the rhythm of life. During this four-week series, we’ll highlight Pop, R&B, Country, and Christian songs by artists from yesterday and today. We’ll explore what the songs teach us about prayer, how these lessons connect with scripture, and how they invite us to practice prayer – communicating and connecting with God – in our everyday life.
