What Good is it? Understanding the Good of the Good News
The word gospel means good news. But what is the good news and what is so good about it? Sadly, what some of us have encountered, expressed as the good news of Christ and His Kingdom, has been judgmental, hurtful, and exclusive. Quite frankly, we have experienced bad news because of misunderstood good news. The Apostle Paul, a follower of Jesus who writes several of the books of the Bible, warned us about “false gospels” or fake good news. He made it clear that there is only one gospel that is good news for all people. This series will explore and seek to understand what the Good News of Jesus and the Kingdom of God is and to understand just what makes it so good for all of us.
