All are invited to begin celebrating Easter with Sunrise Service. The gospel writers tell us that some of Jesus’ followers went to his tomb early in the morning to tend to Jesus’ body. Something completely unexpected happened. When they arrived, they found the stone rolled away, and the tomb empty. Soon they would discover that Jesus - who was crucified - is alive! Sometimes the world around us can seem very dark, but in Christ we have a light of hope, the very presence of God in the midst of us, even when we least expect it. Where there was death, there is now resurrection!
